A day of celebration
Concerned about the inclusion and enhancement of the various communities that make up the richness of Canadian heritage, the AfroMonde Foundation and its team of volunteers including people from black, European, Latin American, Asian, and Quebec communities, wishes to invite the general public to the celebration of Canadian multiculturalism, a national vision of the relationship between, on the one hand, immigrants and citizens of immigrant background and, on the other hand, the State and the national population.

” Here is a great opportunity to share, but above all to meet the culture of African countries! I am happy that our government contributes to the influence of this festival! ”
Éric Allard
Mayor of the City of Châteauguay
« Welcome everyone to this first edition of Bisso Na Bisso in Châteauguay! We are very happy to host such an event in Châteauguay as part of the city’s 350th anniversary.
This will allow us to discover several cultures through music, dance and the culinary arts! It is a unifying event, dynamic and rich in its diversity, for young and old. Let us remember that multiculturalism is one of the elements that represents the City of Châteauguay today.
We increasingly want to host this type of activity in order to bring together all Châteauguay residents, as well as residents of neighboring towns. Châteauguay is inclusive.
Our 350th anniversary is celebrated in style and we are very proud to be associated with the Afro Monde Foundation. Thank you Afro Monde for this partnership! It’s only a beginning! »
